The economy is terrible, but taxes are the area where we all have the chance to fight back and get some of our money back. With tax season nearing to a close, I thought the following article would be helpful.

It highlights the Top Ten deductions that most people either don’t know about or miss on their tax returns. You can get deductions for school loans, having a hybrid or clean energy car, donating to charity, etc.
It’s important to do your research before filing if you want to have a successful return. I’ve actually read in the past that you can get tax deductions for job-related moving expenses, and you can even get a dependency tax credit if you work and your spouse or significant other does not. I’m not an accountant, so you should definitely do your research to learn about the stipulations, but it just goes to show you that good deeds don’t always go unpunished.
